Here is the 2006 electrical schematics for Team THRUST 1501 robot. "Scropion". The electrical schematics are based on PLC hard wire schematics. They are done in AutoCad Electrical 2004, hence you'll find the project file and database file in this zip needed to reopen this as a project in AE 2004. We did not use the bill of material feature in this years diagrams, however next year we will. When each part has a bill of materials, AutoCad Electrical can keep track and auto generate the BOM. I don't know how other teams draw drawings, but this is my back ground and it seem to be a well fit for our robot panels. I am happy to teach the team Industrial panel building skills as well as talk about the NFPA 79 standard, and the NEC 2002 national standards.
